How do I move my existing site?
If you already have an existing site that is hosted somewhere else, you would need to download your
complete site to your pc using FTP and then upload it to your new account with us. Of course, we're here to help and
we can even move your site for you and for FREE
How do I move my domain name?
This would depend upon where you registered your name. Each registrar has a different process they use
to point to new nameservers. If you have any questions or problems with this, please let us know and we'll be glad to
help.
What are nameservers?
Before someone can visit your site at www.yourdomain.com, your domain name must be translated from the
words that we understand(www.yourdomain.com) into the numbers that computers understand. Nameservers do this by translating a request to visit
your site at www.yourdomain.com into whats called an ip address. The nameservers for your other hosting company tells
internet users how to find your site on their servers. In order for surfers to find you on our servers, you must change
the nameservers for your domain name to our name servers.
What are Hosting-WebSites nameservers?
Our nameservers are as follows:
Primary = ns1.hosting-websites.net
Secondary = ns2.hosting-websites.net
