How do I get an email address?
When your account is setup with us, you will receive a default email address that will be specified
in your setup notification email that you will receive from us. However, depending upon
your hosting plan, you will be able to setup other email addresses that you need. Your Control Panel will allow
you to setup these additional Pop3 mailboxes.
How many email address's can I have?
This depends upon the hosting plan you have with us. Although the number of real mailboxes depends upon
your hosting plan, you may have an unlimited number of email aliases.
What is meant by a POP3 mailbox?
There are a few different types of email systems and the most common format used is called POP3 which is
what we currently offer. The other main type of mailbox is called IMAP and support for that type is currently in the works
for us. Most email programs will only work with POP3 type mailboxes.
What is an email alias?
An email alias is simply another name for a real mailbox. Let's say you had an email address of
JohnDoe@yourdomain.com. An email alias of SalesInfo could be setup so that anyone could send an email to
SalesInfo@yourdomain.com and that email would endup in your real mailbox of JohnDoe@yourdomain.com.
What is an autoresponder?
An autoresponder is an automatic way to send information out. Lets say for example you had an
autoresponder setup called abcinfo and your domain name was abc.com. If someone sent an email requesting information to
abcinfo@abc.com, the contents of the file specified for abcinfo would automatically be sent back to the requestor.
